Äntligen kan vi presentera vår nyaste medlem till ambassadör teamet för JB Street Run – 2nd edition & Liv Kids Run, nämligen den inbitna maratonlöparen @sportamaria 🤩 Vi ställde följande frågor till Maria:1. Vem är du?Jag jobbar som socialarbetare i barnskyddet och löpningen är mitt sätt att koppla av och ladda batterierna efter jobbet. Jag har sprungit regelbundet i 30 år sommar som vinter. Har väl aldrig varit någon direkt tävlingsmänniska men alltid tyckt om utmaningar och att springa för mig själv. 2003 sprang jag mitt första maraton. Tänkte lite som Pippi där.. det har jag aldrig försökt så det kan jag säkert…efter det blev maraton min grej.2. Vad ser du framemot inför vårens lopp?Jag hoppas att JB Street Run 2nd edition & Liv Kids Run ska locka motionärer och barnfamiljer. Som ambassadör ska jag jobba på den biten.3. Vad är ditt favoritpass/träning? Gillar bäst att springa på asfalt och min favoritrunda går från Jakobstad mot Larsmo. Mina 15 kms rundor gillar jag mest.4. Vilken är din bästa upplevelse från ett löpevenemang?Finns många men när jag sprang mitt rekord på 3.39 i Amsterdam var en fin upplevelse. Mitt första maraton som jag sprang i Stockholm är ju också ett fint minne.5. Och en specialfråga till Maria – Hur många maraton har du deltagit i och i hur många länder? Vilket land & vilket lopp är näst på schemat?Jag har sprungit 51 maraton i 31 länder. I planerna finns Kilimajaro marathon i Tanzania 27.2 men pga. corona lär det väl inte bli av…så får se på något maraton i vår eller så blir det hallmaraton i Botniahallen 🤩Hjärtligt välkommen till gänget Maria!

Update: The 3k test run event in cooperation with @sauconysuomi and @juoksijalehti will be run at the legendary Pirkkola 400m track on Sat November 13th! The warm up starts around 10.30 hrs, and the actual test run at 11.00 hrs As earlier informed, the test run is open and free of charge for all runners! No need to sign up for the test run prior to its start, just come along to test your current running fitness! 🤩

️ New concept for spring 2022: JB STREET RUN – 2nd edition & LIV KIDS RUN! In cooperation with @projectliv14 Project Liv rf., @coresportsandevents invites runners of all ages to invade the central streets of Pietarsaari for the JB Street Run – 2nd edition & Liv Kids Run event on Saturday May 21st, 2022! 🏻♀️🏼We’ll kick off the exciting Saturday morning with Liv Kids Run starting at 10.30 hrs followed by JB Street Run’s 5km at 11.00 hrs, and 10 km at 11.30 hrs.C.O.R.E. + Project Liv = Liv Kids Run Liv Kids Run is a 1km street race for children aged 5-12 years. The Kids Run will be run on the last km of the JB Street Run route and have the same atmospheric finish area at Kanavapuistikko! More detailed information about Liv Kids Run will be published later on. C.O.R.E. Sports & Events will also donate EUR 1 of each JB Street Run entry fee to Project Liv. When signing up for the event, every participant has also an opportunity to donate EUR 5 to Project Liv to support their work in creating day-to-day happiness for children, with long-term illnesses, and their families.
